Linden Gardens is a highly sought-after location within the Pembridge Conservation Area. The project comprises three interconnected terraced buildings, originally built between 1870–1879, set over six floors including a lower ground and attic level, with a total of 54 bedsits and studios.
Constructed in gault brickwork with rusticated and banded stucco on the front elevation, the buildings make a positive contribution to the conservation area, though the façades have remained untouched for many years. Internally, the accommodation is outdated, with some rooms in need of refurbishment to make them habitable.
The project involves reconfiguring and refurbishing the internal areas to create self-contained units and improve living conditions. Externally, enhancements will improve the appearance and character of the buildings, ensuring a positive contribution to the surrounding conservation area.
