Ancoats Mobility Hub is an innovative solution supporting the future development of Manchester’s Portland Street area, delivered through the North West Construction Hub framework.
The hub provides resident and visitor parking, sustainable transport options, and community-focused facilities while connecting to the fully refurbished Ancoats Green. Designed to prioritise people over vehicles, the hub supports the city’s Net Zero Carbon 2038 target.
Key features include:
- 400 parking spaces, with 25% EV charging capacity and future provision for 100% EV charging
- 150 secure bike parking spaces and changing facilities
- Parcel delivery hub, café, and retail unit opening onto Ancoats Green
- 1,370m² of landscaped public realm
- Eye-catching 400m² green wall and 950m² planted façade enhancing biodiversity, air quality, and visual amenity
