Star Radcliffe Academy is a new educational campus providing 750 places for pupils in years 7 to 11, built on the site of the town’s former leisure centre. Leisure facilities, including the swimming pool, will be relocated to the new civic hub in Radcliffe town centre.
The academy campus will feature modern sports and performing arts facilities, including:
- A three-court sports hall and contemporary activity studio for drama and dance
- External sports amenities including a 3G all-weather pitch for football and rugby, a Gen 2 pitch for hockey and football, and a multi-use games area (MUGA)
Turner Samuel was appointed as Quantity Surveyor for the full sports package, managing procurement, subcontractor and material contracts, commercial oversight, valuations, change management, and final account settlement.
